Sixlabs was born as a joint initiative from the Goverment, the University of Chile and the private industry to promote top of the line research and technology development in Chile.

Sixlabs is one of the biggest technological consortiums which has been develop in Chile, with an investment of US $ 5 millons for 3 years. The consortium is formed by Sixbell Nekotec Solutions, Intel via Commlogik Corporation, and the Technology Transfer Fundation of the Univesity of Chile. All of them with the support of the Chilean Economic Development Agency (CORFO) through the Innova Chile initiative.
